Community Action Poverty Simulation©
SPEND A SIMULATED MONTH in the poverty experienced by individuals and families in our community. This interactive experience promotes poverty awareness, increases understanding and inspires local change. The simulation is based on Community Action clients and their daily realities.
Testimonial: “We love the Poverty Simulation because it offers a truly meaningful, insightful experiential learning opportunity for participants. From legislators and government officials to case workers and college students, everyone has something to gain from the Poverty simulation. It’s one of our most powerful tools for reframing issues of poverty and dispelling myths about low-income families.
